Job summary

Parkhurst Dining at Rosemont College is hiring a cook to join our Parkhurst Dining team. We offer a values-driven environment with opportunities to learn and grow, and a supportive team focused on excellent customer service.

We’re seeking individuals who can stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. You’ll work within a diverse brand family, enjoying benefits and growth opportunities while helping create a smile for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and batch cooking method.
• Ensure quality of food produced and maintain quality/quantity during service using production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation, use correct pans and garnishes, maintain serving temperatures as per recipes.
• Maintain open communication with associates about food items on a daily basis.
• Complete daily production sheets.

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and also enforce the “batch” cooking method.
• Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: proper pans are used, pans are garnished, proper utensils are used according to recipe specifications, and food products are maintained at the proper serving temperatures as specified by recipes or management.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other associates, e.g., line servers, concerning specific information about food items on a daily basis.
• Complete daily production sheets.
