Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Cook to prepare meals that meet residents' health and enjoyment in a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes and support dining services in a senior living setting.

In this role, you’ll ensure food quality, handle dietary modifications, and maintain records of production quantities and temperatures. You’ll keep the kitchen organized, assist with dishwashing, and lead production when the Dining Services Coordinator is absent.

• Commitment to food safety and OSHA guidelines
• Capacity to record production quantities and temperatures
• Willingness to work with dietary modifications

• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
