Job summary

Cascade Mountain is seeking a Cook to prepare hot and cold foods for our cafeteria-style dining. You will follow SOPs, maintain sanitation, and ensure friendly guest interactions throughout every shift.

The role requires standing for long periods, flexibility to perform various duties, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Uniform and dress code are required, with an emphasis on food safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Able to be on your feet for the entire shift. Flexibility and willingness to perform various duties.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Minimum age 16. Uniform and dress code required.

Responsibilities

• Cooking / preparing menu items using Standard Operating Procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintaining clean / sanitary conditions in work and customer areas always.
• Maintaining positive and professional interactions with co-workers and customers always.
• Greeting and serving guests
• Answering any questions guests may have regarding menu, ingredients, price, etc.
• Stocking cups, condiments and other food and non-food items
• Cleaning counters and floors as needed
• Clearing and sanitizing tables in dining areas as customers come and go
• Recording and maintaining proper cooler and food temperatures based on provided guidelines

Cooks are responsible for the preparation of hot and cold foods served at Cascade Mountain as well as performing a wide variety of other duties related to food preparation in a cafeteria-style setting.

• Cooking / preparing menu items using Standard Operating Procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintaining clean / sanitary conditions in work and customer areas always.
