Description

Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Assists in the preparation, production and service of food for restaurant, banquet and associate functions.

· Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications.

· Maintain standards of sanitation and adhere to food safety regulations.

· Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc.

· Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

· Able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds including stocking shelves above eye level.

· Attention to detail and multitasking skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.

· Previous Line Cook experience is preferred.

· 1-2 years experience in the restaurant industry.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
