Job summary

Garbry Ridge in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our healthcare kitchen team. The FT position offers every other weekend off and opportunities for growth while preparing meals to meet daily menu and health specifications.

You will verify tray tickets, wash and sanitize dishware, operate food service equipment safely, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• ServSafe Certification recommended, Ohio Department of Health Level II Food Protection suggested.
• Experience in a similar role is welcomed and training will be provided.

Overview

FT Cook! Every other weekend off.

Prepares meals according to the daily menu and diet specifications in order to ensure successful completion of daily meal service operations.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, make simple calculations and follow oral or written instructions.
• A high school diploma is preferred.
• ServSafe Certification recommended, or for Ohio only, Ohio Department of Health Level II Certification in Food Protection.
