Job summary

This is a full-time, entry-level position within the Management and Manufacturing job function in the Hospitals and Health Care industry.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper infection control standards, wash hands, and wear gloves.
• Follow uniform policy according to policies and procedures.
• Use appropriate PPE per policy.
• Operate, clean, and sanitize all food service equipment.
• Use all equipment as intended by the manufacturer, and report defects/malfunctions promptly following department procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Culinary training preferred.
• Three years of experience as a cook performing food production tasks in an institutional setting preferred.
