Responsibilities

1. Prepare and cook food for patients and customers using standardized recipes.
2. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and equipment guidelines meticulously.
3. Participate in the development, testing, and implementation of new recipes, products, and menus.
4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
5. Collaborate with the culinary team to improve food quality and presentation.
6. Monitor food inventory and communicate needs to kitchen management.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED preferred.
2. Culinary training highly desirable.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook, especially in food production within an institutional setting.
4. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
