Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, a premier operator of senior living communities, is hiring cooks for a full scratch kitchen. AM/PM shifts available, with a pay range of $17.50–$18.50 per hour.

The role emphasizes preparing high-quality meals from scratch and delivering exceptional dining experiences to residents and guests. Join a team known for authentic service, teamwork, and a commitment to residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• For the health and safety of residents, restaurants may require background checks and health screenings.
• 2–5 years experience on a fast-paced line or as a prep cook.
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner.
• Friendly demeanor and clear communication with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals from full scratch kitchen plans.
• Maintain quality and consistency of dishes for residents and guests.
• Ensure sanitation and proper food handling per safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

What We Request

• Line cook experience in a “Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant”
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
