Regency Olympia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare and serve meals, manage kitchen inventory, and ensure safe food handling. You will follow the menu cycle, restock supplies, and maintain a clean kitchen while complying with state sanitation codes.

We are Regency Olympia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a skilled nursing community that offers skilled nursing and long-term care services while focusing on the unique qualities of each individual in a compassionate and caring environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate healthcare professionals to join our team.

As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensures adequate food and supplies are available.

You will:

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
• Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
• Comply with state sanitation codes
• Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed

You Currently:

• Can obtain a Food Handlers card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
