Job summary

Capitol Hill Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a dedicated cook to join our team. We understand that mealtime is a key moment for residents, and we aim to provide wholesome meals as if cooking for family.

We are looking for someone responsible and attentive who cares about food quality and resident satisfaction. The role includes meal preparation, sanitation, stock storage, temperature monitoring, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment preferred.

• Prepare meals and beverages using specific procedures.
• Serve meals using standards to maintain sanitation and quality.
• Store stock appropriately in order to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilage.
• Accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food.
• Clean assigned dining areas using appropriate procedures.
• Wash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practice.
