Oakmont of Novato, part of Oakmont Senior Living, is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team in Novato, CA. You will prepare fresh meals for residents, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency while maintaining a clean kitchen.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a kitchen environment with residents in mind.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living, restaurant, or hotel kitchen is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality meals according to menus and recipes.
• Deliver consistent flavor, quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Prepare food for daily dining as well as celebrations and community events.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling standards.
• Work with chefs, servers, and team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Respect and care for residents in all meal activities.
