Job summary

Five Star Parks & Attractions in Texas is seeking team players for a kitchen role within our family entertainment venue. You will support kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure a positive guest experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities include following sanitation guidelines, learning multiple stations, and working with the team to deliver timely meals while controlling costs. Flexibility for holidays and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to learn all stations on the line.
• Reads and follows general business procedures and policies.
• Able to operate the POS system and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation standards per company and state regulations.
• Portion orders accurately to control food costs.
• Assist and support team across kitchen stations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Holdsteam accountable for quality, consistency, and upkeep of sanitization standards as set forth by company and state regulations

• Accurately portions all orders to ensure low food cost

Safety:

• Ensures areas are free from hazards that would potentially injure staff or guests
• Addresses and immediately corrects any practices that lower safety standards

Education and/or Experience:

• Kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Ability and willingness to eventually learn all stations on the line
• Understands and can operate the POS system
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Mathematical skills:

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to solve practical problems deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Physical Demands:
