Located in Newport News near Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, Newport News Behavioral Health Center is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and young adults aged 8-21. Our center uses a cognitive behavioral treatment model to promote positive behavioral development and recovery from mental health issues, abuse, and addiction. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold food items according to approved menus, recipes, or procedures, including desserts.
• Ensure all food is served at appropriate temperatures and presented attractively, maintaining quality and quantity.
• Use leftovers creatively and timely to minimize waste.
• Maintain sanitation in food production, refrigeration, and storage areas.
• Adhere to high standards of personal hygiene, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Perform management duties as assigned by the Director of Support Services.
• Maintain adequate stock of food and non-food supplies.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow kitchen safety protocols and sanitation rules.
