Responsibilities include food preparation and cooking, preparing sandwiches and platters, portioning ingredients, keeping the kitchen organized, dishwashing, and general cleaning.. Previous professional kitchen experience is required. Experience with Cuban or Latin food is a plus, but we can train the right person. Spanish is strongly preferred. A NYC Food Protection Certificate is preferred but not required to apply.. We are looking for someone dependable, fast, clean, organized, and comfortable working as part of a small team. Morning, evening, and weekend availability is helpful..
