Job summary

Makeready LLC in New Orleans, LA seeks an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. The role focuses on preparing ingredients, executing recipes, and delivering a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with front and back of house, maintain strict sanitation, and adhere to safety standards. A culinary degree or equivalent restaurant experience is preferred; 3+ years in professional cooking is expected. Benefits offered to eligible team members.

This individual is passionate about the connections that can be created over a good meal. Their primary goal is to create an intentional culinary experience that connects guests to the local environment by elevating unique ingredients and flavors.

Requested Tasks

• Setting up, cleaning, and organizing a workstation
• Preparing a variety of ingredients and recipes with efficiency and timeliness
• Maintaining good kitchen safety and sanitation
• At least 3+ years of related professional cooking experience
