Position Details:

• Full Time Cook: $2,000 Sign-on & Retention Bonus
• Part Time Cook: $1,000 Sign-on & Retention Bonus

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking food in large quantities according to diet, consistency, and menu cycles
• Monitoring food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
• Reading menus, recipes, and reviews with Food Service Director to ensure proper meal preparation
• Preparing menu items according to established standards
• Determining quantities needed for meal preparation
• Following recipes and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of supplies and equipment
• Promoting safety and a respectful, team-oriented environment
• Participating in quality improvement activities (QAPI)
• Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Reacting decisively and quickly in emergency situations

Qualifications:

• Experience in culinary environments, especially large volume food prep and service (preferred)
• ServSafe certification required
• Caring, accountability, dependability, adaptability, effective communication, attention to detail, confidentiality, and teamwork
