Job summary

Centra Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Housekeeper/Floor Tech in Lynchburg, VA. This full-time role involves days with rotating weekends, 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. on weekdays and 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Prior food/cooking service experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals according to established schedules, recipes, and dietary standards; ensures proper seasoning, quality, and presentation.
• Collaborates with the Registered Dietitian regarding modified and therapeutic diets, as needed.
• Provides direction and oversight to Nutritional Services staff during food preparation activities, including washing, trimming, and portioning.
• Measures and mixes ingredients according to approved recipes using a variety of commercial food-service equipment, including blenders, mixers, grinders, and slicers.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment while following all infection prevention and control policies and procedures.

How you'll contribute

What we're looking for
