Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus and recipes while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation to meet HCSG standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cooking experience, ability to follow dietary restrictions, and adherence to safety policies. You may lift up to 50 pounds and work around kitchen hazards daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required

Additional Pay Information

Offered salary rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
