Job summary

Vantage Point Retirement Living in Exton, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Cook who is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences for our senior residents. You will prepare food using standardized recipes, coordinate with service times, and ensure safe, high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of job-related experience that includes food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items utilizing standardized recipes.
• Coordinate meal production with service hours.
• Monitor food items for temperature, taste, and quality.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of food items per the menu cycle and standardized recipes.
• Oversee proper food storage procedures.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties.
• Maintain food safety equipment records and food safety temperature records.
• Practice all safety and loss prevention measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
