Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a part-time Cook in Lihue, HI to prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals for Kupuna. You will support all kitchen and dining activities and ensure meal quality and adherence to special diets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of menu planning, kitchen management, sanitation, safety, and personal hygiene. PTO, tuition reimbursement, growth opportunities, and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of menu planning, preparation methods, and inspection of food items.
• Knowledge of principles of kitchen management, sanitation, safety, and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Supports all activities in the department including kitchen and dining areas.
• Responsible for the quality of meals served, quality of service provided, and compliance with special diets for our Kupuna.
• Breakdown and sanitize food service locations and equipment.
