The Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center (L.J.T.C.), nestled in the serene setting of rural Lafayette County, is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk young males. Pay: $16.00 - $17.17 per hour based on education and experience.

What you will do: As a Cook, you will ensure that healthy and tasty food is prepared and served to the youth and staff on-site, help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and dining area, as well as being an active team player within the department. Training will be provided; however, if you have related experience and/or ServSafe certification, you may be eligible to start above entry-level.
To be considered you should: Be at least 21 years of age, be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test, physical, and TB test, be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry, must have a clean driving record as well as an active driver’s license.
Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time Available
AM Shift: 4:30AM – 1:00PM
PM Shift: 11:00AM – 7:30PM

Ensures that healthy and tasty food is prepared in accordance with all Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and national School Lunch and Breakfast Program requirements. Performs duties in the prepping and cooking of food. Ensures the safety, health and welfare of staff and students at all times. Provides encouragement, guidance and resources to staff and students when needed.
