Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook in Lenoir City, TN. You’ll work with the kitchen team to craft breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, ensuring quality and timely preparation for residents.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining clean stations, and supporting the dish area as needed. Ideal candidates have kitchen experience, reliability, and great teamwork with a respectful, caring attitude.

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial kitchen/cooking experience required.
• Strong reading, writing, and basic math/communication skills preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain stations, practice sanitation, and restock as needed.
• Assist in training and provide help across kitchen areas.

We are looking for:

Prep Cooks are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their scheduled station whenever necessary including expediting food and assisting in the dish station. As part of a team-oriented environment, Cooks assist in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need.
