Job summary

Ivinson Memorial Hospital is seeking a cook to prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and visitors in a hospital kitchen. You will follow established recipes, operate large-scale equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

Base salary starts at $17.30/hr.

• Prepares and cooks meals for patients, employees, and visitors working from established recipes, formulas and menu cycles.
• Operates commercial and large scale cooking equipment and appliances.
• Provides input into the development of the menu.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen area.
• Other duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

E X P E R I E N C E

• Previous experience as a cook preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
