The Salvation Army of La Crosse is seeking a Temporary Cook responsible for preparing and serving meals at the emergency shelter. This role includes managing inventory, overseeing food pantry tasks, and maintaining a respectful environment for clients. Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma and experience in food service, with completion of Servsafe Certification within six months.
The Salvation Army of La Crosse Emergency Shelter provides a safe shelter for families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Every year, hundreds of men, women, and children are provided emergency shelter and fed over 80,000 meals. Community support makes all this possible.
