Job summary

JAX Food & Games is seeking a line cook to join Killington, VT’s busy kitchen. You’ll prepare menu items, set up stations, and maintain high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• High-volume kitchen experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established quality standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain an assigned kitchen station.
• Ensure food is prepared consistently and presented according to standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete prep work and assist with daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with station breakdown and closing duties.
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to keep service running efficiently.

Schedule: Primarily afternoon/evening shifts, approximately 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
