Job summary

Arbor Company in the United States (Georgia) is seeking a Cook to prepare meals using established recipes and accommodate dietary needs for residents in long-term care settings. You will assist with stock deliveries, product rotation, and regulatory log requirements, while upholding cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.

Collaboration with the Dining Director on prep and service flow is essential.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or training is preferred.
• Experience cooking in a restaurant environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of kitchen basics, sanitation, food handling, portion control and cooking procedures.
• Experience with special diets and long-term care is a plus.
• Experience with large batch cooking (100 servings) is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain positive resident relations and a courteous, cooperative manner.
