Job summary

Cornerstone Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is seeking a Cook in Plymouth, MN. This part-time role offers guaranteed hours, early shifts, and no late nights in a supportive culinary team.

As a Cook you will follow recipes and safety standards while preparing meals for residents. 1-2 years of commercial cooking experience is preferred; background check is required. This role provides competitive pay and growth opportunities within Cassia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to residents by leading and motivating team members to provide fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
• Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Inspect kitchen for conformance to government and company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Review planned meals and take note of special diet requests.
• Observe and report on low stock or high-demand choices.
• Follow and understand diet restrictions and modifications.
• Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory standards of food service at the community.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

As a Cook at Cornerstone Assisted Living, you will prepare nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of our residents while following recipes and food safety standards. Position Type: Part-Time

Shift Available:
Days: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and 10:00 am - 2:00 pm blocks

Pay: $17.42 - $21.35 per hour depending on experience

Cook Responsibilities:
