Job summary

Medicalodges is seeking a cook to prepare meals for residents at our facility in Iola, KS. You will follow menus and guidelines and ensure the quality and quantity of food prepared.

You will also set up serving areas, record temperatures, chart intakes, and maintain sanitation across dining areas and kitchen.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow basic cooking directions.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Self motivated

• Do prep assignments and re-stock items to prepare for the next meal.
• Following posted schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
• Preparing trays for serving meals and snacks.
