Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC in Palos Park, IL seeks a dedicated Cook to prepare meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized kitchen.

You will follow standardized recipes, monitor food temperatures, handle special dietary needs, and assist with dining service. The role includes leading production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator and contributing to a positive, inclusive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
