Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Part-time Cook to prepare meals for residents, following standardized recipes and menus with attention to quality and presentation.

You will ensure dietary modifications are respected, record temperatures, manage stock and rotate foods, and keep the kitchen and equipment clean and compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
