Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook in Madison, NJ to prepare meals per recipes, ensure quality and safety, and support dining services for residents. You will handle dietary modifications, record temps, and maintain a clean, compliant kitchen environment.

You’ll contribute to a positive dining experience, with opportunities to lead production when the Dining Services Coordinator is away, while adhering to Sunrise standards and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
