Position: Cook

Frontier Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Cook for The Auberge at Kingwood community located in Kingwood, Texas.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Dietary Supervisor with meal preparation, production, and service lines for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
2. Prepare hot and cold menu items as designated.
3. Make soups, sauces, salads, and desserts following established recipes and standards.
4. Follow all health, safety, and infection control practices.
5. Coordinate with team members to resolve food service and care issues promptly.
6. Manage leftovers and inventory to control costs.
7. Clean and break down service areas as scheduled.
8. Engage with residents to understand their needs and preferences.
9. Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service with residents and staff.
10. Represent the company's values and commitment to resident care.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for up to eight hours.
• Experience in online or on-site food service preferred.
• Formal or on-the-job training in resident care techniques.
• Compassion for seniors is essential.
• Ability to push and pull up to 30 pounds.
