Job summary

Hammonton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Hammonton, NJ is seeking a Cook to prepare, cook, and serve a variety of foods in a 240-bed facility. Flexible hours and comprehensive benefit packages are available.

Responsibilities include baking rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies; tray line service; kitchen cleanup; and supporting the food service director in their absence. A strong team player with customer service skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Certification in healthcare cooking (SERV Safe or Sodexo).
• Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• General cleaning up of kitchen
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification in healthcare cooking (SERV Safe or Sodexo)
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in large-scale cooking
• Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep
• Must be able to do some physical work
• Should be a strong team player
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Will manage Kitchen in absence of food service director
