Job summary

Regency Gresham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gresham, OR is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents and oversee daily kitchen operations.

You will follow the menu cycle, maintain a clean, safe workspace, ensure timely service, monitor inventory, and restock as needed while complying with state sanitation codes.

• Food Handlers card required.
• Must meet Oregon state health requirements.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents within scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle and note changes on proper form.
• Maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify items received, and restock appropriately.
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.

• Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed

You Currently

• Can obtain a Food Handlers card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
