Job summary

Life Care Services is hiring a Cook in Greenwood, IN, full-time, with starting pay at $17.50/hour plus experience pay and shift differentials. The role covers food preparation, safety, and assisting with daily meal service in a 60-acre campus Life Plan Community. Shift is 10:30am–7:30pm, with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Knife skills preferred; ability to handle kitchen tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food following standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Ensure food is at an acceptable temperature.
• Check daily events to ensure needs are met.
• Determine amount and type of food/supplies required for daily menus; obtain supplies.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
