Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Cook at Lakestone Terrace to prepare high-quality meals for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care. You will monitor stock, maintain sanitation, train culinary staff, and ensure meals are served promptly with care and friendliness.

Ideal candidates have ServSafe and Food Handler permits, plus 1+ year kitchen experience in a commercial setting, and strong communication skills to engage residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner.
