Job summary

Oakmont of Fullerton, a premier senior living community, seeks cooks for a full scratch kitchen on a full-time basis. The role focuses on preparing high-quality meals and engaging with residents and guests to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Applicants should have 2–5 years on a fast-paced line or prep station, strong teamwork, and a passion for hospitality. Background checks and health screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant.
• 2–5 years experience on a fast-paced line or prep line station.
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff.
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Oakmont may require vaccination and health screening per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in a full scratch kitchen to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Work with team to maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the kitchen.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to residents and guests while producing exceptional food.

Shifts, Time, and Days: Full-Time

Pay Range: $19 to $23 Hour Depending on Experience

What We Request

• Line cook experience in a “Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant”
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner

• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
