Job summary

Ivy Park at Mission Viejo, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking part-time cooks for a full scratch kitchen. You will work in a premier senior living community on site in Mission Viejo, CA, crafting high-quality meals and engaging with residents and staff.

Paid hourly in the $18.50–$21 range, with benefits and opportunities to grow in a collaborative kitchen culture focused on recent menus and local ingredients. Shifts are part-time, emphasizing flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience on a fast-paced line or prep station.
• Line cook experience in a Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant.
• Ability to execute flawless dishes and communicate pleasantly with staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate meals in a full scratch kitchen with accuracy and speed.

What We Request

• Line cook experience in a “Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant”
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
