Job summary

Colonial Poplin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in New Hampshire is seeking a dependable Cook to join our Dietary Services team. You will prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and physician orders, while maintaining high sanitation and food safety standards.

The role requires teamwork with the Dietary Manager and staff to deliver quality service to residents, in a fast-paced healthcare kitchen. Full- and part-time schedules are available, with benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

  • Previous cooking experience required; healthcare or long-term care preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to prepare meals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and serving meals in accordance with physician orders, therapeutic diets, and standardized recipes.
  • Ensuring food is prepared safely and served at proper temperatures.
  • Following all sanitation, food safety, and infection control procedures.
  • Assisting with meal preparation, portioning, and food presentation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
  • Monitoring food inventory and assisting with proper storage and rotation of supplies.
  • Working collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and dietary team to provide excellent service to residents.

Colonial Poplin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and passionate Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This position is responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals while ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, and dietary guidelines.
