The Nutrition Service department is seeking talented individuals committed to career development. Upon hire, you will be enrolled in the Nutrition Services Career Path, offering unique learning and skill development opportunities. Completing the entire Career Path can earn you an additional $3.50 per hour.

Summary: Under the direction of the Nutrition Services manager and supervisor, the Cook will focus on providing nutritious, well-presented food across retail, bakery, catering, patient services, and coffee kiosks, following approved recipes. The role requires ensuring excellence in food appearance and quality, and compliance with HACCP guidelines. The position may require work at various Parkview entities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED preferred or at least 1 year of related work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality, customer service, or general labor preferred. Experience in nutritional services in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Must be at least 16 years old, able to lift 40 pounds, and possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, and bending.
