Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is hiring a Cook in Indiana to join Eat’n Park Hospitality Group’s Parkhurst Dining team. The role emphasizes following Parkhurst recipes, batch cooking, and maintaining food quality across service with clear production sheets and collaborative communication among the line staff.

You will contribute to the kitchen’s orderly operations and support a friendly, growth-oriented team culture with opportunities for learning and development.

• Occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce batch cooking.
• Ensure the quality of food and maintain quantity throughout the service period using production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: correct pans, garnishes, utensils, and serving temperatures as per recipes or management.
• Maintain open communication with other team members about food items daily.
• Complete daily production sheets.

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and also enforce the “batch” cooking method.
• Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
• Ensure proper line presentation: proper pans are used, pans are garnished, proper utensils are used according to recipe specifications, and food products are maintained at the proper serving temperatures as specified by recipes or management.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other associates, e.g., line servers, concerning specific information about food items on a daily basis.
• Complete daily production sheets.
