Job summary

Harborview Thomasville, a faith-based nursing home, seeks a Cook to prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and physician orders in a busy kitchen.

You will uphold food safety and sanitation, follow verbal and written diet instructions, and work with urgency to ensure meals are timely and satisfying for residents. Prior healthcare kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care dietary setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including diet orders and menus.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods in a busy kitchen environment.
