Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Cook for our nursing home to prepare and serve meals per planned menus and physician orders. You will work under the dietary services director to ensure meals meet safety, taste, and schedule requirements.

What You Will Do

• Accurately prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and physician orders
• Communicate effectively director of dietary services
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure meals are timely, accurate, and satisfying
• Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
• Duties as assigned

What You Must Have

• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care dietary setting is preferred
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including diet orders and menus
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods in a busy kitchen environment
