Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. Prepare hot and cold menu items on grill, sauté, salad-bar and service line, following menu cycles and recipes.

You will ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving, taste and assess quality, and maintain high food safety and presentation standards. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living or healthcare food service preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in food presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line.
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
