Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, following policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares high-quality food items using standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, stores or discards excess food according to safe handling procedures.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
8. Helps with ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
11. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
12. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
15. Prioritizes safety for yourself and others.
16. Follows all company policies, including safety protocols like using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
