Job summary

Lorien Encore is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our culinary and nutrition services team at Encore at Turf Valley, a Lorien Health Services facility. You will prepare meals in line with dietary guidelines and sanitation standards within a healthcare setting.

We offer part-time and full-time schedules (6:30 am–2:00 pm, weekends included) with starting pay at $18.00 per hour. Benefits are available for full-time staff and same-day pay is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or a plus.
• Serve Safe Certification is a plus.
• Experience with dietary requirements and healthcare sanitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements, physician orders, and sanitation standards.
• Perform batch cooking while maintaining food quality and consistency.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Demonstrate proper knife skills and safe equipment use.

Overview

Lorien Encore is currently seeking aDietary Cook to join our culinary and nutrition services team. This role is ideal for a dependable, energetic cook who is passionate about food preparation, dietary compliance, and providing high-quality meals in a healthcare or senior living environment.We are looking for acheerful, enthusiastic culinary professional who enjoys learning new cooking techniques and applying them within established dietary guidelines. The right candidate will take pride in their work, collaborate well with others, and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.Part-Time Schedule: 6:30 am - 2:00 pm - 3 days/week (every other weekend)Full-Time Schedule: 6:30 am - 2:00 pm - 4 days/week (every weekend)

Pay Rate

• Starting at $18.00 / hour
