Cook: At this location, our cooks earn $17-$20 / hour.

We are looking for Full-Service Line Cooks:

• 2 to 5 years’ experience on a fast-paced line, working all stations.
• Accountable for all aspects of assigned cooking stations, including setup, stocking, cooking, and presenting dishes according to Lazy Dog's recipes.
• Ensure only “fresh” high-quality ingredients are used when preparing all recipes.
• Follow the displayed recipe during preparation and cooking.
• Adhere to proper recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Never sell a dish that does not meet Lazy Dog standards.
• Follow food safety procedures, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment, utensils, and tools.
• Use PPE appropriately and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of cooking equipment, including startup, shutdown, maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Immediately report any product, equipment, or food safety concerns to the chef team.
• Be guest-focused and capable of multitasking.
• Basic English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Be trusting, passionate, humble, and a gracious team player.
• Build lasting relationships based on trust and respect.
• Create a fun and positive atmosphere.

Education

• High School diploma preferred.
