Job summary

The Claiborne at Johns Creek is hiring a dedicated Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for residents in a welcoming kitchen environment. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain safety and cleanliness, and support dietary restrictions while collaborating with dining services.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior cooking experience in healthcare or high-volume food service.

Qualifications

• Healthcare/senior living or high-volume food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus and instructions consistently.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Dependable, team-oriented and able to work independently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus and portion guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep areas.
