Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents in a welcoming, well-organized kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure proper portioning, and support safe food handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions consistently.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
