Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation of food items. Diverse menu requires speed and accurate preparation.
- Work in Kitchen areas: Line Cook positions in Salad, Fry, Sauté, Grill and Make Up, along with Kitchen Prep Cooks.
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of surroundings.
- Work as a team to achieve standards in preparation and delivery of food items.
- Prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe standards.
- Restock kitchen and cook line as needed.
- Commit to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
- Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- For California based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required (to be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
